At the United Way Center for Excellence in Early Education, we are committed to elevating the quality of early care and education in Miami-Dade and beyond. We know that in the first few years of life, 700 new neural connections are formed every second and those early experiences affect the basic architecture of the brain by establishing either a solid or a fragile foundation for all of the learning, health and behavior that follow.
Since its opening, the Center has provided professional learning opportunities to more than 35,000 early care and education professionals, improving the quality of care in schools and homes for nearly 600,000 children.
